Farren Drury MBE

Farren had a distinguished military career. He won the Commando Medal whilst with the Royal Marines and was awarded the MBE for services to the Former Yugoslavia. Receiving the Wilkinson Sword of Peace during the peace process in Northern Ireland on behalf of the Infantry Battalion he commanded was another special highlight. A sports lover, he has a BSc Honours degree from Loughborough University in Physical Education and Sports Science and he represented the Army at boxing and rugby.

He now runs leadership development programmes, transformational coaching and team building, working with senior leaders across all sectors whilst focusing in recent years on Government agencies charged with the safety of our country. With credibility and presence, he has run business-critical facilitation at Government Minister and Board level as well as providing confidential personal development to elite athletes and a number of very high profile future leaders worldwide.

Farren ‘connects’ with people in a unique way. His passion and enthusiasm are palpable and infectious. As a coaching client recently said – he ‘recharges batteries’ in the most ‘wonderful’ way! He balances support and challenge with courage, skill and compassion, inspiring individuals, teams and organizations to get to the heart of what they need to perform at their very best.

Inspiration is not enough. Farren helps people of all ages and backgrounds to believe in and lead themselves to take the action necessary to be the best they can be. He has a determination to make a positive and sustainable difference in society and he is the Founder of Make It Yours.

Farren’s VSM goals are to:
